Contribute to the Map that I have started
If you click on the picture of the map on the blog home page or click here for a direct link, you will be taken to the 'Google Map' that I have set up for a park trail entitled: Crystal Palace Park Trail: A Palace and Park of the People.
Google have their own instructions about how to edit a map and I have written a guide there to explain what the different colour markers represent.
There is no order in which to follow the trail.
The Crystal Palace was often called 'The Palace of the People'. When creating this initial trail I thought about:
Who created and worked on the palace and park?
Who visited? What was it like to visit?
How does the palace and park affect our lives today?
What is it like to visit today?
You can any contribute text, photos or web links that you think will help the visitor to the park.
Use Google Maps to create your own trail
It can be on any theme related to the park- about something that interests you.
How about 'The Night of the Fire Trail', 'The Ecology Trail' or 'The Children's Trail'?
There are instructions on Google Maps about how to create one and then I will create a link from the blog to it!

Comment on the blog
You might want to share something through commenting on the blog. It might be a suggestion about how to improve it, something you would like me to add to the blog or map, or anything useful!
Add your photos to the Flickr Group I created
You will need your own account, but can then add photos to the group.
Click on the photo on the right hand side of the home page or: Click here for a direct link
Add your close up photos taken in the park and see if people can guess where you took them
Click on the photo on the right hand side of the home page or: Click here for a direct link. Can you guess the ones that are there already?
Take part in one of the quizzes on the right hand side
Click here for tips about how to decide on what to include in the trail!
